DMCA & Copyright Policy

TopeySoft LLC, operating as Stedda, respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. We will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with applicable law.

3. Filing a Takedown Notice

To file a DMCA takedown notice, you must provide a written communication that includes:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works are involved)
2. Identification of the material on Stedda that you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (URL preferred)
3. Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address
4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
6. Your physical or electronic signature

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification containing:

1. Identification of the removed material and its former location
2. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
3. Your name, address, and telephone number
4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and will accept service of process from the complainant
5. Your physical or electronic signature

Counter-notifications should be sent to the designated agent listed above. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant and restore the content within 10-14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA, we will terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. We may also limit access to the platform for any user who is the subject of repeated takedown notices.
